De Vlaamse Leeuw Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Hi guys, My brother bought a second-hand spinnergy wheelset recently, and i don't know what happened, but the front wheel now buckles. Do any of you know if this can be fixed or not? and if so, how and where?

techguy Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 If they are then they are pretty much toast... those wheels' spokes were riveted to the rim under tension and if its cracked then I don't see much hope unfortunately, I've seen it happen on a couple of the four spoke spinergys. Also keep in mind that those wheels went out of production about 8-10 years ago...

Icycling Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 What I have read above is correct. So if it is an old 4 spoke - game over. But lets face it the 4 spoked wheel has probably given excellent service over the past 8 years plus!
