Li Mu Bai Posted October 22, 2009 Share Simple truth of the matter is, if you do it on a hard tail you would need to be a lot fitter and your core should be rock solid. You are standing a lot more on the pedals and generally working much harder. you are also riding a better line and not just bombing over everything in your way. I've raced my hardtail for 100k's marathons and it starts to bite after 75+k's. Did Sani2C this year on my Meta4.1 dualsus - what a breeze, climbed no problem, really enjoyed the race.
