Road frame purchase

Hi everyone

 

I am in the process of upgrading my frame and need some advise.

 

I was looking at purchasing the Specialized Allez Comp(Alu, Carbon fork and rear stays) that everyone is selling for around R4000  but noboby has got the correct size.

 

Any ideas as to which other frame I could look at. And ideally for the same sort of price range, give or take a grand or two.

I was amazed to see thos frames go for that price. West Rand cycles have got some Marin frames for R4500.

According to the LBS I should have a 54.5 which is equal to the standard 56cm that I have to ride.

Not sure.  I was measured by the guys at Cyclelab and I should ride a 56 as well so I take they gave me the correct frame size.

Got myself a Cannondale!  So the Spec is not needed.  And the price I'm asking is just for a new set of wheels for the dale.
