There is this story that, in 1838, a sign was put up on the banks of the Breede river. On the sign was written: "All those who can read, we are trekking to a better life in the North"...

I finally found the start of the trail. It wasn't where I expected it to be though. As you come in through the gate there is a route to the left. You follow this for about 3 kms and then you reach the start! I took a pic but am battling to upload it. Will post it later.

 

The entire route is sign-posted and has some nice singletrack, jeeptrack and even a small bit of tar. It is quite a pleasant route with plenty of climbs - pushed my heartrate up higher than I thought I was capable of!

I'm a time-traveller. Wink Have no idea. I also noticed that the time is wrong. All the Active Topic times are an hour ahead on my screen. It is definitely not yet 10 pm in Centurion.
