It's almost as if they want it to look similar to the XTR, whilst still making it clear that it's not... Preferred the previous look because it was as if the XT was just that, XT - whilst XTR was XTR - with seperate indentities and the like... THat being said, the rest of it looks pretty sweet... M760 and M960 rear deraileurs looked very similar except for colour. M970 and M770 have similar cosmetic differences.. XT has alays been the lower priced XTR and looked the part.
