Although I'm not a fan of Cycle Lab in general, I just popped into the new store in Hillcrest about an hour ago to see if I could pick their brains about some technical issues I was having. Met Tania Raats there who let me look at some bikes in the workshop to try and help. Couldn't really find what I was looking for so she said she'd get someone to call me. Ten minutes later Andrew was on the phone helping out... what fantastic service! Big thank you to them :)

In the Pick 'n Pay center, where the golf place used to be (and then I think it was a rug place or something). It's a nicely laid out showroom, not too much accessories stock, but some really nice bikes.

That's great stuff !

I was in the William Nicol store on Saturday, must say I'm slightly underwhelmed.  Big shop but not much in there thats special. (except the 29'' carbon dual fishers Andrew is trying to punt to everyone LOL )

Did get a nice cycling kit bag(so I don't leave bottels at home again) and a first ascent jersey for cheap, but no one even offered to help while I was browsing, they really weren't busy at all.

No not McClean... must have been Warr. I was looking for a singlespeed kit for my Silverback and he called to say they had a kit coming in for a customer and when it arrived he'd call me to let me look at it. Then he just explained what the kit consisted of and gave me some advice on how he'd go about it.

I liked the store... my only complaint was it seemed so sterile. I like going to "Bring It On Cycles" in Kloof, it feels more relaxed. But I have high hope for Cycle Lab Hillcrest, I will definitly go back... Tania is cute as hell!!  Wink
