I would give family jewels to get the Zula in the untouched silver colour. Hope Patrick reads this!

I'm so annoyed that I bought my new bike in May - now I need to find new justifications for a new frame!

Back to the original thread on bling-essories. The white Troy Lee saddle will work nice on the white Zula.

Angry Also put a Zula on a digital scale. Medium frame comes in at 2,7kg....not the same as per specs on the website = 2,4kg. So now in two minds to purchase a Zula. Is it worth the money to save 500 frame grams over my Shova......Confused.

And in general reading a lot about the 29er issue. To me just a marketing tool. My little knowledge tells me that the moment of Inertia(rotational mass) for any round object = mass x radius x radius. Do the calculation for the same weight wheel just taking the radius in consideration and I get over 24% more "rotational mass" that must be kept into motion on a 29er wheel ...  Eeeishhhhhhh....I still need to find the facts why 29er the way to go. Please help me if I am wrong !!!!!Cry

medium frame I weighed came in at 2.45kg which is slightly over the published weight and with RP23 fitted.

Either way, I have never weighed a frame that comes close to the published weight.

Scott says its Spark is 1800gr, actually its closer to 2.2Kg.

Cannondale says nothing and its Scalpel comes in at 2.2kg with a RP23.

Whatever the weight difference, the Zula is a different ride to the Shova and will build up to a bike roughly 1-1.5 kg lighter than the equivalant Shova.

Just double checking...

Told it should arrive towards the end of Jan, but being naturally suspicious cautious suspicious cautious suspicious and hence worried they sell my frame to their mates telling me it never arrived in the shipment?.

and you support these folks you don't trust....?

LoL... of course I'll do anything to get my hands on a Zula frame, problem is i think there are probably quite a few hermans trying to get their hands on one as well.

They (Morewood) did not have a spare one when I was lucky enough to visit the factory in Nov.

Thanks. I fully agree that the Shova and Zula will be two diferent rides. I am also in two minds. Im a BIG Morewood fan....but the new 2010 Yeti ASR Carbon now also having my attention. Maybe worth spending a bit more on the Yeti...save some 500g plus on frame weight compare to Zula ?!?!?! Ouch Need a couple of nights to sleep this one over.....
