advice on a front fork

i got a new giant strada and then managed to get lube and some oil into the shock(srsuntor xtmv2 i think). i wanted to get a dart 2 or dart 3 (2nd hand) but downhillking told me that that was a bad idea

 

can someone please help me with some advise!!!

If you're going to get a new fork rather buy new, and rather save up and buy  a tora or recon, the dart is not  better than the suntour fork. Suntour actually make some very nice forks...

You only get front forks..you dont get rear forks.

Take a deep breath, think really hard what it is you're trying to find out and phrase that nicely. Lots of clever people here who can help you if they know what the problem is.

 

Try and keep unrelated information such as Q20 and broken pieces seperate.

Right. So the nonsense about Q20 and oil and crap is just that, nonsense.

I also have a SR Suntour XTC-V2 on my <?: prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />merida. Nice fork, but you have to be gentle with the adjustment; otherwise it's going to brake. Rather let you fork be serviced by the pro's, don't go spraying it with the nearest oil you can find when it's thirsty.
