What makes a good club?

I'd say Club rides and social activities, Weekend training camps, Club competitions and races, riding as a team in races (even in unlicensed groups), team races like 24hrs, DC, Panorama, etc, Training advice and programmes.

'this is where you push up your level of racing, can make it it social but then again...why do you join a club?? To get the kit or better your times? If you only want the kit then yes social.
