Sterad Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Hi, any help on where I can get 180mm cranks, maybe second hand? Not prepared to pay over 2 grand like for the dura ace stuff. And must be the old square tapered type fit. Is it worth while going from 175 to 180? For road, just want to try it out.
techguy Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 I saw some of those on the shelf next to hens teeth...But seriously the move to 180mm is worth it I have 180mm XTR cranks and will never go back. unfortunatley the square taper DA cranks went out of production 13yrs ago so to find a set now I'd try ebay or the like...
Sterad Posted December 3, 2009 Author Posted December 3, 2009 Thanks, will try the internet as it seems I am looking for hens teeth.......SRAM make these in the "Rival" model for about R1500 on the net(chainreaction,probikekit), comes with bb, not bad. Aluminium hollow cranks, 830grams including bb.
