Jono Waddell Posted January 29, 2010 Share Is anyone using a Polar CS300 what can help with wheel settings. I am using the 2070mm setting as per the manual for my 700x23 road tyre and it seems to be under reading. I got 98 kms for the 103kms fast one. Any ideas??? Brakkies Sport Fotos Posted January 29, 2010 Share Mark the tire on the side with a pen, roll it in a straight line, mark the distance (when the mark tough the ground again) take a measure tool and measure the distance (in mm) I think the 23 is 2096 / or 2069, cant remember.popeye2010-01-29 08:41:
Jono Waddell Posted January 29, 2010 Share Is that the way to go. To roll the bike forward, measure the distance of the rotation and input that as the wheel size??

SwissVan Posted January 29, 2010 Share Make sure you roll it in the same direction as you cycle i.e. forwards And in a very straight line for swiss watch accuracy!

SwissVan Posted January 29, 2010 Share Don't you take 4mm off fort your weight or something. Why not call polar With your normal riding kit, tyre pressure and position, sit on the bike and have a second person take the measurement.
