Sunday 4-5 hr MTB ride

Hi all,

 

Myself and a girl friend are doing a 4-5 hour MTB ride on Sunday. We can always go to Northern Farm or Spruit, but I'm looking for something different.

 

Anyone have suggestions? Any men want to join us to scare off would-be attackers?

hmmm.... i'd love to join....but heading to Cape Town monday so have to pack and spend time with the family   Have fun and hope so tough guys can protect you....I coulda helped but i am not so tuff!

I'm thinking of going there after running a 10k at Northgate, will see what happens. I just need some help on what I should take wif :

t-shirt , roadie helmet, polly shorts, water bottle, sandals...(thats to ride with)

cervelo, you know better! If you're riding with us you have to have a peak helmet, cycling shorts, bling cycling shirts, etc!

Nick, I hope you don't take this as rude, but i'm a bit nervous of meeting 2 guys I don't know and going for a ride into less populated areas with them. Maybe next time when we have a big group ride?

 

Any advice you need on NF, etc I'm more than willing to share! Also, if there's other guys coming along that I know, I'd love to have you join us. It might seem paranoid, but you gotta be careful who you meet online. I'm sure my hubbie would be a bit concerned as well.
