alberton morning ride (road)

Hi guys does anyone know of any groups that ride in the morning during the week in alberton ?

Good question. Ask Trubie, I know they leave early from Steers in Meyersdal.

If your looking for a slightly later ride, I'd ask around at the local bike shops (CycleHub or Just Cycles)

I often head out on the roads around 7 30-8am, and always see at least half a dozen other riders.

The guys are still leaving Xumbugs at 5:15.

But it's getting darker and the guys normally push the pace so if you a fast rider then great but if you a tad slower then you should re-think as you want to avoid going up the steps alone.

 

I also ride on Tues & Thurs but I have my own route/s

Don't think there is a virgin active during the week - never seen any cyclists there at that time.

the Xumbugs 5:15 group will no longer ride there till spring time later in the year

from tues a group will be back at Steers Meyersdal @ 5:00, and do a loop of about 40/45 km's through Alberton and the south back to Meyersdal.

 

You welcome to join, Kid will be riding there 3 x per week for the next 6 months too!!

I'm still waiting for my invitation as this is a very exclusive group.

 

I'll only be riding 1-2 rides there a week, don't think I'll be able to keep up the BIG guys.
