I would really like to showcase the Lido Route (as this was a successful pilot project) as a safe training route by having a race there. The route is about 46km long and we can have a fun ride of 46km or a longer race at 92km long. Is this viable. (I know there is some road construction going on two sections at the moment). This is a great ride in Summer so thinking after 94.7 in November/December or maybe a week before the Fast One. Is there anybody with expereience or with some contacts to help put this together or know of a possible sponsor (good for advertising). We could possibly name it the Hub SA Cycle Challenge (on Admin's approval of cause). Please help or suggest people who could help. Thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(Honda that is, not Giant ) nah, in all honesty i'll happily marshal though. and if this does come about i'll chat to TB re marshalls - they normally get paid for their assistance (nb there is wear and tear on the bikes and petrol) but we can maybe try get a discount - i know that this would be one where i won't mind subsidising the running costs of my participation Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
