i've commuted to work in jozi plenty, but i think i may give the fixed side of the hub a miss for townLOL

But just for fun try decending Sylvia's on the fixed, on a 88 inch track gear . See if it does bring a small bead of sweat to the forehead.  Just make sure that the lock ring is tight.

minty, a coupla years ago i read some really great articles about the murky underworld of couriers in the states. some of those dudes have issues. hmmmm, courier friends of yours? issues? makes sense!LOL
