PURE PORN!

just a point of interest, i was speaking to a guy the weekend about the Aerozine cranks you got on there as ive just ordered a set for myself, he was saying that i should rather go for the KCNC cranks as the aerozine arent as stiff and from the flexing it causes the chainrings to bend and then causes a noise when the chain goes over it. Have you experienced anything like that with the cranks?

I use twist shifters so I can trim the front depending on where I am at the back. The crank does flex a bit but to be honest it doesn't make too much difference. The 29er wheels already flex somewhat and in mountain biking there are not a lot of "out of the saddle" type sprints where you will flex them. Normal seated riding doesn't flex them. Shifting on them is also pretty decent.

They are very light too!

Just my opinion but the layback post looked nicer.

But this is an awesome looking bike!

I also liked the look and the quality of the Thompson, but this one is carbon, a couple of grams lighter and matches my finishing kit... so it had to go. Wink

I bought it from Lance at Epic Bike Shop in Wynberg, I think he keeps stock most times.
