fourbar Posted May 31, 2006 Share Hi Everyone, Some advise please; I have a post nasal drip, but have managed to contain it with Sinumax. The question now is: Should I be training? <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />[/quote'] One of the better ENT specialists in Pretoria years ago suggested the following cheap remedy that really works for me:1 unit (dessertspoon) plain salt1 unit bicarbonate soda1 Litre lukewarm waterMix it in a drinks bottle until fully absorbed. First thing in the morning "snort" a good handful of the mixture. Initially you might get close to vomiting, but all the "goo-snot" comes out with a good mix of saliva. If the snot is yellowish/brown, an infection is immanent. Take it easy with training (active rest). Continue with the "snorting" at least three times during the day, everyday!
