Great all round mtb front tyre

I have ridden with Crossmark ust tyres for several years and they have never failed to deliver. With the rapid development of new tyres I am wondering whether there are any other "must try" options out there. I am specifically looking for a good front tyre combo for the crossmark.

I have the monorail in front - great work it's doing.

recently tried Maxxis ADvantage, front and rear, 2.3 and 2.1 respectively - non-tubeless converted - works wonderfully
