  1. Mr Min? Uncle Jeff? He is still very well!
  2. Either way... the good thing is you can use a derailleur alignment tool to straighten the hanger
  3. I would suggest Helicoil... if they come in that thread size Please keep us updated on the outcome
  4. I had the same problem… the issue is often what to do with the front wheel if you take it off and lateral stability when going off road… I take the front wheels off and mount the fork in a Holdfast fork holder https://solomonscycles.co.za/products/holdfast-all-in-one-upright-bicycle-holder/?utm_source=Google Shopping&utm_campaign=Google Merch &utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=66402 . These can also easily be home made. Then I made these holders for the front wheel. They go next to the back wheel so that you can strap both wheels (and thus frame/fork) together for lateral stability…

  9. Well done! I love your attention to detail and appreciation of the finer things in life! Your patience in ordering from Amazon and waiting for parts to arrive is also admirable!
  10. Wet one of the knobbies on the tyre with water/spit or even paint. Do full rotation and measure distance between 2 wet spots…
  11. Apart from the financial benefits of solar over the long run, I feel people who have the financial means, have the environmentally moral "obligation" to choose solar. Generators are noisy and smelly!
  12. Which Tallboy is it and what size?
  13. Not all hubs have a sleeve between the bearing race and the through axle. Some hubs have the bearing sitting straight on the axle and i have found it quite stuck in some wheels. Not sure if that is the case in with this one.
  14. I think the axles are seizing onto the bearing inner races and not the end caps….
  15. I would suggest transporting the bike inside the car, not outside on a rack where it will get stolen or ripped off easily
  16. I love this thread for the varied questions, answers and projects going on. So i feel i can ask freely... I really like & am loyal to the Bosch Blue and Makita powertool ranges. I have a Bosch blue 18V cordless drill with 2 batteries. Now i am in the market for a oscillating saw... but the price range and choice is staggering. On the one end we have Bosch green (https://www.toolcraft.co.za/products/bosch-diy-pmf-250-ces-multi-function-tool-online-only) for R1850. On the other side of the spectrum is Makita (https://toolservices.co.za/products/makita-tm3000cx2) for R5050. It is important to note it comes with a case! And somewhere in the middle is a cordless Bosch blue (https://www.toolcraft.co.za/products/bosch-professional-cordless-multi-tool-gop-18v-28-solo?currency=ZAR&variant=31714718384230&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=Google Shopping&gclid=Cj0KCQiA8t2eBhDeARIsAAVEga338kK1HqROpG0Je-Vnj35HJFShTzVuWpaTUsNydh503zylRPecQ6MaAiOdEALw_wcB) without a case! What say you oh wise ones? a
