Got my 2x9 setup and first testrun at babbas went well this morning.

Don't know why they ever went 3 gears in front.

Oh yeah, weight is 708g.Wink

It's a 29-42T upfront and I got a 11-34 at the rear. For normal riding I can use 11-32 at the rear, but for races with lots of hills I'll rather use the 11-34.

I did 1h19. Took it easy at the start as I was still "gewyn" from last night.Smile

Weight is cranks,bb,spacers and 3 other thinner spacers I'm not using.

So it's for the complete crankset and it's weighed on electronic kithen scale.

Claimed weight is 715 +-10g

That crank wouldn't look good on every bike but it really looks good on your moabThumbs%20Up

....oh... and kudos for riding the double...i know i can't

Nice, yeah the 11-34 would be better suited most of the time.

But Babbas is flat, I want to see how this performs in a hill race like Kgaswane.  But I guess we'll see if we do the Isuzu ;) Will pm details later

Good weight, mind if I ask cost wise and how is the Qr factor/chainline/shifting ? Im guessing the deraillers must be adjusted, depending where the rings sit in relation to normal ones ?

Think it was R2500 shipping and vat inc.

Would like to try it on the hills. Rode most of today with the 42T.

Shifting is really quick and effortless/crisp. I'm still using a normal deore topswing derailleur. I've just adjusted the limit screws and I'm using gear 1 and 2 on the gearshift.

Setting up was really easy. I did it yesterday and didn't even take a testdrive before babbas.

Looks hot! Just be careful of that adjustable crank length insert, I managed to stuff mine up quite quickly when my pedal came slightly loose.
