Road: Langebaan circa about 5 years ago I think (Fatty can you remember?) (Sorry no pics)

 

Racing in Elite's at the time, on one of the out & back sections a rider in next group over took the bunch by going over the immaginary white line, he hit me head on. I dont recall ANYTHING about the crash. Woke up in Saldanha hospital a few hour later. Appart from smashed bike & helmet, I was relatively unharmed appart from concussion.

 

MTB: 16 June 2009. Very lucky to still be around after last years crash while scouting new route for Willow Creek mtb event. A section of road had washed away but was not visible due to overgrown bush obscuring the view.

 

I crashed head first into an embankment, breaking my C3 neck vertabra in 1/2 and shattering my left elbow.

Will be forever gratefull to all of you on thehub that supported me through the 7weeks in traction and also helped raise funds for my medical bills.

While rinding on the jonkershoek road got taken out by a car. Went through the windscreen and off the other side. My arm got cut up badly and my forearm muscle got gut off and had to be reattached.
