Is it possible to link Discovery Vitality to Zwift? The Discovery website and call centre say yes but Zwift is not in their list nof Apps. Has anyone actually done this or know if it is possible?

Have a look at the Vitality thread.

From January 2025 Zwift is no longer on the Vitality list.

Basically your options are:

1. Parallel record session on Garmin

2. Edit the fit file ...

To come back to this contentious issue, I need someone to explain Dicovery's logic here. If I do a workout on my Tacx trainer with Zwift it records the workout and all the data to Garmin connect. Garmin owns Tacx now as we all know, but Discovery won't acknowedge that workout unless I use my watch as well when I do the workout to record the heart rate data (twice because I use a HR strap) via the watch. so I sit with duplicate workouts and having to delete the watch workout after Discovery syncs. On which planet does any of this make sense? But I can get 100 points if I walk into a gym and have a coffee. I want to take this up with Discovery senior but I want to get some input from you guys as well.

You can link your zwift to garmin and or strava profiles that you can link to vitality. You can also connect your bike trainer to your cycling computer or phone and upload to your linked profiles.

If you don't have a Garmin device; then open a Garmin account, link Zwift to Garmin account, do workout, export workout, then edit workout in fitfiletools to make it recorded by any Garmin device, upload it to Garmin connect then you will score the points.

listen, discovery is full of k@k, they won't change, you will just have to work around it...

Do a 120km adventure race - Zero vitality points because it is dangerous

Do a 113km Ironman 70.3 and get a bunch because you needed to train hard

This is what I don't get, Tacx automatically loads a Zwift ride it to Garmin connect, and even though Tacx is owned by Garmin they won't accept it. Its just retarded.

NOTHING about Vitality makes sense .... when you look at it from a HEALTH perspective.

Very sad actually, as it STARTED as a means and a measure to get people active, fit and healthy.

Now it is just another "corporate rewards" program ... you need to embrace the Discovery corporate group of products if you want to get real rewards.

IF this was about health, they could have and probably would have resolved these compatability issues long ago.  But it is about the Discovery group of companies and their preferred group of partner companies ..... most certainly NOT about "your health" ....

We can only wonder about the golden handshakes that led to this situation .... and the "losses" involved if the system was opened to more brands .....
