Hmm, didnt know about it to be honest.

......What annoys me is the assumption that because they are RS and LA they can disregard the rule book, perhaps had they gone to the organisers before and said, "look fellas", "this is what we would like to do", can you Okay it with the other teams / managers / organisers / whoever ahead of time so we dont tread on toes.

I am sure everybody would have said, "Fine, go for it"!

But instead they wanted to throw their weight around and use ambush marketing tactics - thats wrong, and I think the referee's acted correctly.

My old varsity prof. always said to us "define yourself by your neighbour" - in other words, think about how your actions may effect other people before you act - they cant just allow ambush marketing of a private agenda in front of the worlds media, this has to be pre-arranged - otherwise they have to allow any other team to do likewise, so Milram for instance can say "well we support an orphanage, we will now also wear a shirt advertising this fund, and liquigas will say we want to wear a shirt promoting a greener footprint and so on.......!

As for Bruyneels malicious comment about brains and rules, really, the man needs to learn some humility -what did he hope to achieve by that comment I wonder.?
