Has anyone used BikesDirect.com to a bike? They seem to have fantastic prices and what to know more about them.

 

Another thing is I do not know the barnd names of the MTB they stock. Can anyone tell me if these brands are any good or waste of cash? The brand names are as follows:

Dawes

my 2 cents

 

import duties on a complete bike are large.

 

When/if something goes wrong you got nobody to take it back to.

 

Where are you based? I would rather look at solomons, they got some great specials on at the moment

There was a guy on here that imported some of those Motobecanes and tried top sell them. I don't think it worked out because he kind of disapeared.

A lot catches my eye but there are no prices and I'm working on a very tight budget.

All the frames are handbuilt in the factory in Italy and come with a 2 year warranty

My budget unfortunatly is R3000-R3500, R4000 is the max I can go but that is pushing it.
