Mojoman Posted September 19, 2010 Share 23km from home my Crossmark tyre managed to get a cut in the sidewall (never ever had this happen in all the years I have been cycling), I also had 3 punctures today due to this cut (tomorrow I buy a new tyre AND a tyre patch!). Not had any in a while, oh well! Got lekker sunburnt as well and a 40km ride took me over 4 hours, however the one highlight was an old couple in a bakkie who stopped to check I was OK, turns out he was a cyclist from long ago and felt it was his duty to stop and offer assistance! I will see tomorrow what my Tech guy says and what my LBS is gonna charge for the job/service.Johan sent me a price for the seal kit and it is a real good price. Will speak to him tomorrow. Saturday got Hayfever from all the dirt been blown about, really felt sick like a 'Dog'. Still had to work today Sunday even sick as I was, I would have much rather gone out on the bike. Now found out why I am so 'sickly', I got a absuss on one of my big teeth, Molar, according to the specialist they will have just extract the dud and finished. Busy loading Morphyn.
