Carbon Clincher for Racing in windy Cape Town

Dudes & Dudettes,

Which rim depth should I choose?

Considering I mostly race in Cape Town where the South Easter reigns...

I am concerned about stability when it is gusty.

What other variables to consider?

There's a quote somewhere in the tech section of the Zipp website where their head engineer makes the statement that the best time to ride deep sections (i.e. when you can get the greatest aero advantage) is when there is a strong wind or crosswind blowing.

For a tt or break away aerodynamics plays a role ,but i don't think if you just sit at the back of the bunch riding for a average (to improve your seeding)-not really racing, aero wheels is not important
