Guess I gotta give the definition, my comment may have turn south

it's due to electrical induction. The bike gets charged and

a potential difference exists between you and the bike and

then you get zapped. it's harmless, only static electicity.

 

Can be uncomfortable though. Friend of mine experienced the same

underneath the 400kV lines crossing the road between Ceres

and PA Hamlet.

same thing happens on a hot dry day, I tend to get zapped by a cold frostie the moment it touches my lips
