I have always suffered from a dodgy back, and what works for me are a few sit ups, leg lifts and some air cycling (or any exercises that work the back and stomach a little) for a few minutes everytime I come back from a ride(or most times!).

As several of the guys have pointed out, your core muscles are so important and yet often neglected. My 2,000,000,000,000 Zim $'s worth!
