Hi Fellow riders,

I would just like to say thank you to Northern Farm team for putting in the efforts of maintining and sorting out the security at Norhtern Farms.

If I compare to last year this time, there has been huge changes in the trails offered. We decided to go through yesterday morning and we had a blast of a time, single tracks are well cut and challening. The presence of secutrity is there and what was nice is that the parking lot was full... Which means everyone likes the changes.

Once again this is just a post to say thank you and well done a fantatic Northern Farm ouride!

And very convenient of them to have card facilities... NOT!

Cash is king! ;) Very inconvenient of you NOT to have cash facilities?

We are new to MTB - 4 weeks, been to Northern Farm every weekend since we started and really enjoying it. Especially the single track. We are still exploring and learning the routes, yesterday we did 23km

What do you mean by Teak not friendly? I have never been there.

How many paths do they have at Teak and what is the distance of each?

It's not a biggie, I mean I'm there for the awesome riding, not for the service, be it good or bad, just compared to most places, I've found the people there generally unfriendly.

The couple times I've called to find out info about opening times etc, I've just found them to have a bit of an attitude, emails are also to replied to.

However, the riding is brilliant , (&the gate staff are super friendly:D)

there're a couple routes you can choose from :-

Black / Red Course:

Black Track: The Black course is thirty eight kilometre’s long and more demanding on the rider. This course runs along some of the farm roads with 5 single track switch backs and a lot more single track running along the bottom of the dams. Much more technical and exciting, where riding down to and along the streams, over and around eight bridges running next to the scenic streams is a real challenge. Adjacent to Gnome Lane is thick bush land providing the true African experience. Cycling up towards View Point you will climb along the ridge and then cycle down towards View Point, back up view point climb which is fairly challenging especially up to View point itself. Lets not forgetting the spectacular 46 meter floating water bridge.

Blue Track: This blue course is thirty six kilometre’s long ,and also quite demanding depending how you ride the course. The course runs along the farm roads with 5 single track switch backs, including a lot more single track. In the lower bush area there is some fantastic scenic riding along the streams and over and around 8 bridges running next to the streams. View Point climb is challenging, not for the novice rider, especially up to View Point itself. Great for training and hard workout.

The green course is ten kilometers long for the intermediate rider. The course runs along scenic farm roads with African bush single track, to introduce the novice rider single track riding. There are some small hill climes just to get your adrenals pumping and definitely get you hooked into serious cycling.
