Spoke configuration

Hey guys,

 

Ive bought a new Merida 903-18, and comparing the configuration of the spokes on the front rim of my bike to the picture on the Merida website, there seems to be a difference.

Would the shop i bought it from have installed the spokes or who would have?

 

Is this a problem or should i just let it be?

would have come from factory like that i'm pretty sure.

 

the pattern is radial, there are advantages. if you have real issues, your LBS should rebuild it for you.

Aah okay...No issues, i was just wondering.

 

The rear configuration is as per the picture on the website though, would have thought both would have been the same for aesthetic purposes

Fortunately, spoke configuration has very little to do with aesthetics. It's purely there to ensure you don't fall flat on your face while screaming down your favourite hill
