I have a VERY basic camelbak, which holds about 2 litres, and has place for a multitool, my car key and that is pretty much it. I used to use my MTB baggy pockets but I recently changed to bibs and no more pockets.

HELP. I cannot load my shirt much more either.

Can anyone help me out in finding a decent one with more space without bankrupting me, all this in Cape Town?

GO. :D

CWC - I got my Camelbak from CRC last year but with CWC pricing. I will not bother wih CRC again.

I got a 3L Scudo (its based on the Blowfish and the Mule). Very nice for commuting. I would say bigger is better. Mine has a built in rain cover and its actually very handy. Helps to keep the mud off even on the trails.

Oh, and I pack in the following in mine (somedays):

* Pair jeans

* Pair shoes

* Shirt

* Lunch

* Full 3L bladder

* Towel

* Netbook !!!

* Wallet

* Phone

* Bunch of Keys

If you know someone in Gauteng, let them get the one from Solomons. Huge special.

What do you want to load in there still? I'm usually fine with only my backpockets

Got a Camelbak Lobo from Solomons in PTA North a few weeks ago. It's true, it can hold the kitchen sink together with 3 litres of water. Best value for money I've seen in a long while. Paid 500 bokke and there was quite a few available then.

I have the lobo, nice pack, takes 3lts. I still get a phone, tools, tube, some food and house keys and arm warmers in there...I think its the same with hiking, the bigger tha bag, the more stuff you tend to take!
