actually not that bad value when you compate to what roadies spend......its still 1/2 the price of other brand's top end hardtails (cannondale for example)

According to Fritz Pienaar - all the frames were going to be replaced - with a completely new design...

They actually have a few 2011 Avalanches there...

 

However these GTs still look awesome...

That is a Crank Brother`s Cobalt Wheelset - Very Pritty

 

Talk to Shamus - I saw he has a few sets of these in stock.

 

 

Those wheelsets are the dogs bollocks, love this bike too - Nice :drool:

lol morewoodmad i am with you 100% there is a thread here where they were pulling frames form the early 90's and the bike still looks exactly the same. I think i am actually going to apply to be a frame engineer at GT can have myself one very long relaxed paid holiday.

New clear coating/resin, frames are 300g lighter (now around 1,1kg for a M)

Internal cable routing and the rear triple triangle had a slight re-design.

 

They wont change the look because that is their trademark zaskar design.

I'm glad they actually improved the spec Formula R1 brakes for one, much nicer than XTR they had before.
