I bet the bulls frame is any lighter than a scandal at that R3500 or so - puts things into perspective a bit.......then spend the extra cash on a serious set of wheels.......

rock has the right idea... get an EMD rather. only reason i like the bulls alu frame is that the welds have been filed so it looks a carbon...

Maybe I made it up!!!! Ha ha. I thought that that was what Vincent told me. I must have made a mistake. Thanks for that. That adds R3K to my new crank.

R 20,000 for for a bulls carbon frame seems a bit high. I think you can get the Niner Air Carbon for like R15,000 and hopefully the new OnOne Carbon for under R10,000. The Volcan 29er carbon is also on sale on buycycle.co.za for R10,500

I first want to say the my garage has 3 Specialized bikes in it.

I rode that exact Bulls bike a month ago in Tokai and did not want to get off, if I wanted a race machine with big hoops the Bulls Carbon frame for sure. That demo bike had very average to bad rims and components it you spend some money there you would have an awsome bike.

The distributor for Bulls is also super helpful and actually gives a damn...as for Bulls bike been new, well if its good enough (and developed by Carl Platt) it's good enough for me.

I am on my way to the LBS for another specialized 'Brain' service, but it may be my last!
