Time to move on, save a little and buy the Morewood Zula

I have decided to sell the frame, perhaps someone is keen on the shock or rear triangle.

Zulas are awesome. Enjoy the new ride when you get it.

Not so unusual.I've seen a lot of Specialized come apart at the BB like that.More on the road bikes but have seen probably 5 mtb frames that went the same way as yours.A lot more on the road bikes.Almost all of the white tarmac pros had that problem. They were all replaced under warrenty but got bad news for you, don't even waste your time been 3rd owner, you got no chance.

Just a note on those buying second hand.Try and get a proof of purchase with your bike/frame.Warrenty cards/registering the bike online as first owner etc means nothing. If you ever have a problem with your bike all dealers will ask you for the proof of purchase, without it you will get no-where.

I agree, but only when you deal with South Africans.

I had my frame replaced under warranty in the USA and they did not even ask me for proof of purchase. Slap, bang, thank you mam. New frame. And it was a loose pop rivet on the deraillier. USA work way different so there is a chance if he works through the right channels and tries to cut SA dealings out.

care to share why?

Bikes have flaws, spez breaks exactly on the crank, scott brakes the seat post tube, and Giant anthems break at the seat post weld.

None the less its the exception rather than the rule, hence i still bought my anthem.

This could happen to any bike brand. This sucks though.

Two words brother....Gee Tee...

Hey Mackie, like the GT brand, but for my part would have to say:
