Free Fork/Shock Service, Free Wheelbuilding

I have an apprentice doing the practical side of his Bicycle Mechanic Course with me at the moment.

 

On Monday and Tuesday we're going to service a couple of forks for practice as well as some RP/Whatever Fox shocks.

 

I need some demo equipment and in return, we'll service it for free.

 

I need:

 

1) 2 x Rock Shox forks - any type. It will be nice to have one coil and one air spring one.

2) Two Fox F-series forks. Any type except Talas.

3) Two Fox RP shox.

 

 

We'll service them for free and the deal looks like this:

 

1) Labour is free.

2) Oil will be charged at a flat fee of R40-00 per fork and R5 per shock.

3) Seals will be charged at regular retail value if required. These retail for approximately R280-00 per set.

4) You'll receive a report on the shock/fork's internal condition.

5) You bring the fork and/or shock to me, already off your bike and you replace it yourself.

60 This offer is only available on Monday and Tuesday next week i.e. 6 and 7 December and you have to collect on the 7th.

 

 

 

As for the wheelbuilding, same story.

 

We will build the wheel for free but all components will be at your expense. Preferrably you already have the hubs, spokes and rims. Spokes can be sourced at short notice but not the rest.

 

The deal sees you walk away with a handbuilt wheel with a lifelong spoke and truing gaurantee.
