Haven't done this specific event, i know the area and don't see any major hills except Karee kloof.

I'll be doing it with a couple other guys in COW kit very chilled ;)

I am sure the route is fairly flat - doubt we'll head towards Karee Kloof. The race is only 60km + Karee Kloof is a good 45 - 50 km from Stone Haven.

Certain Cows have been known to push ice cream bikes  , so helping fellow cyclists shouldn't be a problem

Is registration closed or can you register on the day?

Pretty sure you can register on the day, when I ride in the Vaal I never pre enter, its never been an issue.

The ride / race wont go anywhere near Karee Kloof, I havent seen a route map, but from Stonehaven there are only two routes, one out towards "Klein Ertjiesberg" turn around and back, no major hills but pretty much a rolling terrain and fairly taxing if the wind blows, not an easy ride at all, the other route is basically the opposite direction out on the Sasol road, turn around and back - this one IS fairly flat all the way, but very unprotected so expect a fierce HEADWIND somewhere on the route.!

Stonehaven is a nice venue, if its nice and sunny, stick around after the ride and enjoy a beer and burger on the banks of the river, if its cloudy, just the beer will do. :D

That's standard everytime i've been there they have accepted late entries, but i get your point, you dont want travel all the way out there only to find that they dont accept late entries.
