Hi udxcob, sounds impressive. Have you ever been up the back of Simonsberg. On that road between Klapmuts and the Paarl- Franschhoek rd, is a farm on the Simonsberg side, with the name "Flentersberg(burg)", you take that road and follow it for about 2,5km then take a right up through the pine forrest, about an hours hard pedal in small gears to get to the top of that "nipple" shaped rock on the north western ridge of Simonsberg. Spectacular views over the peninsula.

We ride out to the silos then turn into the farms and so the slent pad and then go over the N1 (this next tar section has huge dirt shoulder past klapmuts hotel and concrete) then to the new garage at the fruit sellers 4 way stop, there we turn right and go over the railway line, then turn left onto the franshoek road and we turn right into the farms and make our way up the mountain (the steep side) or we could go on further and go up the other side (longer but not as steep)

Come with Mr Legs
