Running Shoes

Hi

 

my younger brother has a shoe SIZE 13! He would like to buy some racing shoes for triathlon/Biathle etc.

He really likes the Nike Lunar lite! But cant find any or any other decent pair of running shoes.

 

Any suggestions? The only problem, we are in East London. So a small town.

Triangle Sports in PE sells the Lunar Lites. Best thing would be for your brother to go to the Half Ironman expo in East London in January. Triangle will be at the Expo there. Otherwise just give them a call on (041) 581 7041 and talk to Jeff.

That's a hard one to give advice on, considering how personal a running shoe is. I guess the most important starting point is whether your brother is looking for a neutral shoe, or one designed for pronating or supranating. That narrows the field of choice down considerably, making the selection process a bit easier.

Im getting Newton shoes next, Its all the rage. No for real. Some of my mates( runs 20km a day kind of runners) recomended them to me. Triangle in PE sells them. otherwise I was looking at some of the lunar lite 2's at a shop here in knysna and have read reviews on them in the latest Triathlon plus mag (they had a big shoe review) and it also got good ratings.
