Odion Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Came standard on my bike. Really good brakes can't fault them at all. Very responsive, and the 80g less than the Juicy 7's surely helps if you're a weight weenie. Mates of mine riding with xtr, think the Avid's are far more responsive. Like I said can't fault them.
1kTT Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 I went from Juicy 7's to Ultimates and found the Ultimates mushy and down on stopping power (despite many efforts at bleeding by LBS). Then I fitted a set of braided brake lines and they transformed the Ultimates- crisp feel and almost as much stopping power as the 7's. The look cool and are lighter so with the braided lines they are
