GW cyclist had a fall...

For anyone who knows Merv (from Germiston Wheelers), he had a bad fall this morning, and is currently in hospital awaiting surgery. His front wheel slid from under him on a patch of diesel - happened as he was approaching the Wimpy on Kritzinger/Grey ave (where we all meet in the early hours).

 

He had a nasty bump on his head (just above the right eye), and sustained a cut around the eye (glasses shattered).

 

 

 

for those who don't know who Merv is, there's a photo of him wearing Macsteel kit, pushing his MTB on one of the first few pages of this month's RIDE mag.
