Earlier a good friend of mine (Theo Havanaar) passed away. He had cancer and he fought it till the end.

He was a very keen cyclist. This coming new year would of been his 19th or 20th Argus. but he was happiest on his mountain bike. Often i would phone him at night(after 9pm and would hear he was out riding, as it was the only time he could ride as he had to get his son to bed first) and he would be riding in the valley(baakens valley,Port Elizabeth). Often he would call me and tell me what wild life he saw there. He was always so amped to go ride.

Rest in peace my friend, you will be missed.

Very sad to hear.

But no doubt he will now be in the great big XC track in the sky, where there are no uphills, only sweet, sweet downhills!

Our thoughts to all his friends and family!
