Intense Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 I was riding yesterday, after a 2 month layoff, and towards the end of the ride, my tyre burped off the rim. I have been riding the tyre for about 9 months and it still has good tread. It is my front tyre and I pumped it up to the normal pressure of 1.9bar.what is strange is that the tyre would not sit again and the beading seems to have softened. Has this happened to anyone before? What could the cause be? it is a Racing Ralph UST 2.1 inch

Vetseun Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 I had it with Kenda Karma's. Could be that the bike stood for so long that the sealant chowed the rubber and caused a weak spot.

Mackie Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Also had my Racing Ralph and Nobby Nic do that, the Nobby Nic was even replaced because of the fault. They never said what the fault was though, a bit of a pain considering the price of Schwalbe tyres.
