  1. 1. I Bought this bike because......

    • The elite riders ride the bike even though they get paid to plus guarantees
      1
    • It’s a well known brand and it was affordable

    • Brand? I care only about components on the bike, price, size and guarantees.

    • I don’t care about the brand. I trust the blokes that sold it to me and they will maintain it. Also guarantees and the price was good.

    • The bike was very light in weight and I was told that the wheels have fast rolling action.

    • The bike looks good, nice colour scheme, looks fast and price was right

    • The bike is comfortable to ride because the bike shop had the components specially selected for my unique physique

I bought a pinarello - Scandium, had to try a scandium frame , and a raleigh, needed a cheap beater for a while... All my other bikes over the last 15 odd years have been sponsored, and all giants. Oh, I currently have a Bianchi on order, but the factory will only have supply in Feb...

i think once you are on a Specialized its hard to ride something else. im sure its like that for other guys with other brands like Trek/Bianchi, etc...

Argus winnings are 20k, which get split between the team as a monthly bonus.

I jave a 2008 Specialized XC pro MTB.Very happy with it. I have stripped it bare and I am ordering a new groupset and having it repainted.

I have put all my old components on my Silverback HT and riding Attekwas this comin weekend on my HT. Whilst i wait for the spray and components to arive.Must say I still get better control on my Specialized with the rear locked out compared to my silverback on technical trails.

However I find the silverback far more responsive on non tech trails compared to the locked out Spez and for fast times the silverback beats the Spez hands down.

The spez looks better and rides more comfy when locked out.
