Well, this morning I was riding by myself when about a kilometer from home, I punctured. I was busy replacing the tube when the Cycle Lab bunch came past. And guess what...? At least six or seven of them asked if I was OK , if I needed anything , and so on . They really pissed me off :angry:because I was trying to fix my flat and not chat! Then, just to really piss on my parade, the bloody back up vehicle stopped, the driver rolled down his window and asked if he could help!! AAArrrghghghgh!!! :cursing: After I very managed to say (very politely) no thanks, he drove off, looking very disappointed... I must admit that of the dozens of other single cyclists and groups that passed, not one other person bothered to even say hello, let alone offer assistance! Yes - credit where credit is due: thanks Lovemore and the Cycle Lab guys. I'm sorry I didn't take you up on your offers, but it's nice to know there are guys like you on the road. (Disclaimer: I am a Cycle Lab member, but I wasn't wearing my Club kit. And for godssake, please don't tell Ali!!!)

scotty Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Nice i would however have accepted their offer to use the floor pump to pump up the wheel. On the note of backup for cyclists we passed the Lido group this morning, thats a huge bunch. Well done to whoever organizes that.
