Anyone else crazy enough to go for a ride in the rain.

We took the roadbikes for a ride about 15min after the rain started here in Centurion and after a few minutes riding it really started to rain.

At one stage I had my bb submerged in water while riding through a "puddle". Looks like I lost a cadence sensor.

Seeing it was my first ride for the week, I had loads of fun

Man I would have loved to be out today, but I still have limited use of my shoulder and arm. You are so lucky to be able to ride in this great weather.

I went out at just before 9, cycled from Clubview Golf course up Old Joburg to Nellmapius and then came down John Vorster back towards Clubview. Was pretty wet out there

Cycled mostly on the side of the road so I was full of mud. I left the bike outside in the rain for a natural wash. Will open up the BB and hubs later to re-grease.

I had all intentions of going to GK today but awoke to faily heavy rain. Now after eating a roast chicken for lunch it seems to have stopped raining...not sure if I feel like burning it off in the mud this afternoon.

played in groenkloof. some stunning new trails there  the climbie in the corner was a little more technical then i remembered ... possibly because a river came down there recently? an exciting river crossing towards the end of the loop. decided to skip another loop and rather go drink coffee at moyos. we left them with puddles on the floor :D

We did a 75km mtb ride in the mud yesterday and a 45km ride in the rain today. Very slippery and my sunglasses tend to fog up but what a great day to practice some technical riding over slippery rocks, grass and mud :-)
