Do you really rest for an hour? I am guessing the 210km will take around 14 hours...well thats how long I expect to be riding give or takeĀ Imtb2007-10-25 12:47:52

Eat when you get hungry , drink all the time . I am not sure about the resting bit , rather slow down the pace for a while but keep moving . I will let you know if my strategy for the Desert Dash works !

I guess it depends on how much training you have done, the standard of rider etc - if you ride at the back in races, well I gues one needs to rest for an hour, but i would agree with Dirt rider - keep moving Imtb2007-10-25 13:02:16

We must also remember that a 24hour race like the one you are going to do is a lap race affair and a different animal . It makes it to easy to rest every few laps . I have only done 6 hour lap races before and have never managed to do more than 4 laps at which stage I get stuck into the coolerbox !
