mtbDobby Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Hi all - which 29er wheelset should I get? My options are pretty much the ztr arch on hope hubs or the American classic. Is there another set I should consider, basically the ztr are my 1st choice and the cheapest option. Ps - it needs to be able to get me thru epic swell

MintSauce Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Any half average set of wheels will get you through epic. If the cheap-ass wheels some people use can last for years, then there's no reason they can't survive one high-mileage week.
philip.maree Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 I have a Shimano XT 29er MT75 wheelset and they are awesome thus far. Have been running them for a year no and they are still running true. They have proper tubeless rims. No rimstrip required. I have only had hassles with rimstrips and conversions.
