Weldtite Tubeless Tyre Repair Kit & Tools

I used these plugs this morning for the first time. 

 

What a pleasure to fix a gash in the tubeless tyres! 

 

Where can the strips or plugs be sourced om their own?  The kit is still good for sometime but I might have to get a few plugs extra.

Your LBS should stock them. You get the full kit and also the plugs on their own.

don't know if i've got the same one. are we talking the "crochet needle" and strips that look like snollies. if so, the refills cost R50 like the original kit

Go to your local Tiger Wheel and Tyre or friendly Q-Tyre or whatever they're called. Ask someone there who their rep for patches and stuff are, contact the guy and buy the snollies by the gross for 10c a piece. While you're at it, also ask him if he reps for Maruni and buy a box of the smalles Maruni patches you can get. They're the best.

Get a kit from any camping shop such as Outdoor Warhouse, , i got a kit with needles,  snollies etc. Cost me about R10.

Yesterday I fixed my Maxxis TT Larsen UST tyre with this Weldtite Tubeless Repair Kit. It was nogal a biggish hole. I have normal rims which I converted to tubeless, so I had to refill the tyre with STANS. Inflated the tyre and this morning it was still holding air.

Will only go for a ride on Wednesday afternoon. Only want to know if anyone has got any experience on this repair kit. Does this stuff really work? Will find out tommorrow.

I had a hole that took two "snollies" to fix - the hole stayed fixed - did Sani2C etc with the fix
