I tend to agree that in a perfect world a higher cost should relate to a better service, but in reality its not always so, - price and service unfortunately, are not always symbiotic, as I am sure you and I have experienced. :)

And there in lies the rub.... I'd willingly pay more for better service and peace of mind knowing the job was done properly, with the right tools and all nuts and bolts torgued correctly, etc. Fact of the matter is, I have no idea who is wrenching on my bike at the LBS, so I do it myself :blink: .

In essence we agree.... has it happened on the hub before.... ;)
