The races up here in GP have been over R150 for yonks and they do not include road closure. Save the extra R2000 you would have spend on carbon jockey wheels and bar end plugs and go race. Ja, and apparently before you gautengelengs can even think about racing you have to drive your big shiny bmws 1000km through apocalyptic traffic jams just to pick up your number

I paid R140 for a late entry... I think I said the F word when the lady told me the entry... If I remember correctly they had just over 1,000 entries on the day - @ R100 a pop (being conservative here), that's a R100,000 just in entry fees...

The PPA staff insisted he get new membership - but surely all he needed was a CSA day licence?
